Create a Mindset of Success – How are you thinking?
Frustration and helplessness are common starting points when we discuss the challenges related to a brain injury. Before we begin it’s important to establish a positive mindset. At the end of this course you’ll be better equipped to take action on behalf of yourself and/or those who are in your care.
A positive thinking can produce positive attitude and positive attitude leads to positive results. Here are six simple thoughts to consider as we begin the workshop:
- Believe that you create your own destiny.
- Keep your sense of humor
- Make a commitment to yourself to think in positive way
- Utilize what you have in your hands and make use of it in the most constructive way.
- Consider your environment and increase the positive things that can support you for having positive thinking. Remember that which you are surrounded by and then your thought will be affected too.
- Try not to worry.
It’s our mission to provide you as a caregiver with a framework to minimize the stress of managing the medical and rehabilitative activities of the person with TBI. This course also aims to enrich the day-to-day lives of the people with TBI by providing coping strategies that will improve the possibilities of their recovery. How you approach what this workshop offers will determine the impact it will have for you personally.
